Who is The Gimp?

Since 2002, The Stig has been the anonymous tame racing driving on BBC's Top Gear. Although millions have wondered about the true identity of BBC's The Stig, the reality is that it just doesn't matter. The Stig was created for one purpose and one purpose only.... to drive fast. Inconsequential details such as his real name or appearance would only serve to distract from his real purpose.

Around that same time, The Gimp was also created. Rumor has it that he was cut from the same mold as The Stig, by a maintenance worker who happened upon it after it was left for trash. Some say that's nonsense, and that the Stig and the Gimp are related, while others insist they have no connection whatsoever.

Like the Stig, the Gimp was created for one purpose only. That purpose is to provide a counterpoint to the established order of stupidity we call "society".

Many have tried to guess the Gimp's identity, and like the BBC Stig, some claim to actually KNOW who the Gimp is. The truth is that no one knows. The Gimp has no friends, no family, not even an acquaintance. Even the Gimp himself is unsure of who or what he really is.

So Who is The Gimp? There are clues all over this site, and more are coming. If you're smart enough to find The Gimp, you might be surprised at the result. If you're not, and none of this makes sense, rest assured, it will eventually.

Is the BBC Stig related to the Gimp? Who knows? Who cares? It's just an anonymous race car driver, and an anonymous writer. Some say he writes as fast as he drives.... while others claim he is the most interesting man in the world....

All we know is, he's called The Gimp....
